After that, you can register with a binding commitment. Our introductory meeting takes place at the practice on Rothenbaumchaussee 17, 20148 Hamburg.
Content
Resilience is understood as the ability to withstand painful experiences or stress in life. It enables us to cope with these experiences and remain healthy, or to take charge of our lives despite stress or difficulties.
Numerous scientific studies investigating the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) have shown that ACT helps reduce psychological distress and strengthen mental resilience.
Alongside mindfulness training according to Jon Kabat-Zinn, ACT forms the core of the Resilience Retreat.
Costs
The retreat takes place over 2.5 days and includes the following:
Training
- Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) based on the work of Steven C. Hayes
- Mindfulness training based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by Jon Kabat-Zinn
Accommodation
- 2 nights at the country estate where the training also takes place. Accommodation is available in single rooms or double rooms shared by two people. The rooms have been carefully restored to preserve historical features and were awarded the BDA Prize of Schleswig-Holstein and the Monument Protection Award in 2015.
Catering
Included in the price:
- Welcome and a light dinner on the first evening at the estate
- 2x breakfast
- 2x lunch
- Coffee and cake in the afternoon
- hot and cold beverages throughout the retreat
Not included: Saturday evening dinner, which can be enjoyed together at a restaurant. Participants cover this cost themselves.
Setting
The retreat takes place at Kultur Gut Hasselburg on the Baltic Sea. Where horses once stood and blacksmiths worked in their forges, we now come together in a cozy and private atmosphere.
Through practical exercises based on ACT, we will explore personal examples of stress or daily burdens to discover resilient ways of coping with challenges.
Shared mindfulness practice also provides space for rest and relaxation, and creates opportunities to deepen the intensity of inner and outer perception.
Target Audience
This retreat is designed for those who seek personal growth regarding their own resilience and possible inner blockages. It is also suitable for finding calm and orientation during emotionally turbulent or intense times. Nature, community, and the tools offered by ACT and MBSR are intended to support this process.
This retreat is not a form of psychotherapy but is intended for those who want to learn, in a preventative sense, how to deal with challenges, stress, or difficult life events in a healthy way.
